Repairing Damage Done by Unwanted Critters

There are lots of different kinds of wild animals that give homeowners problems. At K.P. Wildlife, we’ve helped lots of homeowners in Maryland remove animals and repair their property afterwards. Wild animals can do a lot of damage to your home and lawn, and we wanted to take some time today to speak about how to perform repairs once the animals are gone.

Exclusionary Services

After an animal has been removed, you don’t want it coming back, and the best way to ensure this, besides moving the animal far away, is to install exclusionary equipment. If there are holes in your home, we’ll patch them up or install a small cage/fence, preventing animals from using that entrance again.

Check Your Home’s Wiring

Lots of different animals like to chew around your home, including your wires. If you’ve had an animal in your home, it’s important that you check your wires. Exposed and chewed wires are a fire hazard waiting to happen and will need to be repaired right away.

Damage to a Chimney?

Bats and squirrels, in particular, like chimneys, but many animals native to Maryland will enter a chimney. They can disturb your chimney cap and screens and can prevent it from functioning properly. We will repair everything and make sure things are set up so that no new animals can get back into the chimney.
